Talented RBCS choir singers thrills Southwark

RBCS Christmas Concert 2015

The Rotherhithe & Bermondsey Choral Society staged their 2015 Christmas Concert on Saturday 19 December at St Mary’s Church, performing J. S. Batch’s Christmas Ontario and various carols from around the world in front of an audience of over 250 people.

As Patron of the group, Prem attended the event and congratulated Sue Heath-Downey, Conductor and Musical Director of RBCS, on assembling a group of 40 singers from the community to put on an exceptional show.

The Choir sung carols from all over the world, such as For a World Without Faith (an Argentinian Carol) and the Huron Carol  (a traditional Canadian carol). They duly earned several rounds of applauds from the audience.

RBCS’s next public performance will be it’s Spring Concert, which will take place at St. Mary’s Church, Rotherhithe, on Saturday 19 March 2016.

Thank you to Sue and the entire choir for organising such an entertaining evening.
