RBCS hosts successful Instant Choir workshop

RBCS February workshop

Over 50 people from all walks of life attended the Rotherhithe & Bermondsey Choral Society’s Instant Choir Workshop on Handel’s Messiah on 13 February at St. Mary’s Church as part of the 2016 SEE16 Arts Festival.

The event was organised by Sue Heath-Downey, RBCS Choir Director, in preparation for the group’s spring concert on Saturday 19 March, where they will perform Handel’s masterpiece to a full crowd at St. James Church in Bermondsey.

Many attendees said after the event that they were glad that they came to have a go at singing with the choir.

After the workshop, Sue said: “The whole festive weekend was a great success and attracted many people to the amazing range of events.”

Thank you to Sue Heath-Downey for organising this workshop. Keep up the good work!
