Prem speaks at Kiwanis UK Convention
Prem Goyal was invited to speak at Kiwanis UK’s seventh Convention & Gala Dinner at London’s Union Jack Club on Saturday 13 August.
Kiwanis UK is a national branch of Kiwanis International, a volunteer-driven community service charity, who invest over $107million annually into projects that strengthen communities and “serve the children of the world”.
Speaking to 70 community leaders and friends of Kiwanis from across Europe on the virtues of volunteering, Prem shared his journey to business success and the importance of giving back after achieving your dreams. His speech got a very warm reception.
After his speech, Prem presented the UK Prime Minister’s Point of Light Award, bestowed to individuals who volunteer to make a real change in their community, to Althea Smith, Chair of Kiwanis UK. She was speechless and felt extremely honoured.
Guests were treated to a wonderful night of entertainment, including a beautiful performance from Colombian dancers, remarks and speeches from Kiwanis Club Leaders and more live entertainment and music.
Following the successful convention O’Cheng Bloomfield, Chair Elect of Kiwanis UK, said: “Prem’s speech was truly inspirational and is a great motivation for me to continue my path.
“His story resonates with me and I would like to personally thank him”.
Thank you to Althea Smith and her fantastic team for organising this convention.
