James King becomes Freeman of the City
James King, Southwark Community Champion and President of the MPA programme at London School of Economics, followed in the footsteps of some of the country’s distinguished leaders and City business people by receiving the Freeman of the City of London.
Upon receiving the freemanship, James said: “It is such an incredible honour to follow in the footsteps of some of this country’s most eminent leaders across all walks of life by becoming a Freeman.
“It is a proud moment for me and I promise to abide by the rich traditions of the City and uphold them wherever possible.”
Thanks to Murray Craig, Clerk of the Chamberlain Court, for his guidance and bestowing James this honour.
