Honouring London’s community champions
Global Markets Consultants, GMC, recognised two community champions for their longtime contribution to Southwark and London at a Kiwanis Central London and Springs of Hope fundraiser which was supported by GMC.
The first person to be recognised was Dulcie Hutchinson, Founder and Co-ordinator of Springs of Hope. Dulcie was awarded the GMC Community Champion Award for her work helping disadvantaged children and young people in Southwark. Dulcie was presented her award and a £100 cheque by Amadu Kanumansa, former MP Candidate and Founder of Sierra Leone Hajj Pilgrimage UK.
The next person to be recognised was Althea Smith, President of Kiwanis Central London. Althea was awarded the GMC Life Achievement Award for her civic and charitable services to London and especially Southwark.
