Highshore school reaching out to business

Highshore School is a Special Secondary School in Southwark whose student’s strive to attain independent living and work skills for the future. Earlier in the year, APP parliamentary candidate for Camberwell and Peckham, Prem Goyal, visited the school to give a motivational talk to the students and share his business advice with the staff.

The school are now putting some of those ideas into practice, launching two new twitter accounts to promote the school and reach out to businesses. The first is @MadeAtHighshore, to promote items made by the students from recycled materials. The second is @HighshoreSchool, to promote the school’s work experience programme. The school is also launching its first business links day next week.

We encourage everyone to follow both accounts and see what Highshore are doing!
