Helping grow the Tutu Foundation
With 2015 coming to an end, 2016 heralds the start of an exciting year of new projects run by the Tutu Foundation. In my capacity as Vice Patron, along with Chairman Clive Conway and other trustees and vice patrons, I have given my advice and thoughts on the foundation’s strategy for the next few years.
Following the success of the 2015 Youth Summit, the Tutu Foundation plans to run an Annual Meditation Summit and is proposing to use their tools of building relationships and breaking down barriers to help the NHS overcome the challenges it faces. There are further projects in the pipeline to combine Ubuntu with sports and a partnership with TfL to advocate Ubuntu behaviour whilst on buses, trains and trams.
I look forward to supporting the foundation fulfil its ambition to grow as an organisation and develop a national media presence.
