Celebrating outstanding charity sector achievement

Prem Goyal and Catherine Ching from Global Markets Consultants (GMC) attended the 2016 Chairty Awards dinner on Thursday 9 June, alongside 400 guests including charity CEOs, business leaders and political leaders.

It was a terrific night celebrating the most outstanding achievements and innovations in the charity sector over the last year. The Trussell Trust picked up the Overall Winner Award for their phenomenal work in spearheading a national network of foodbanks.

2016’s Outstanding Achievement Award was presented to Oxfam CEO Mark Goldring who has given many years of tireless dedication and commitment to the charity sector.

Prem Goyal was invited to be part of the 2016 Charity Awards judging panel, comprising of Andrew Hind CB, Associate Editor of Civil Society Media, Dr John Low CBE, Chief Executive of Charity Aid Foundation, and Paul Farmer, CEO of Mind.

To support the charity sector even further, GMC and Prem are in the process of setting up meetings with various charities to discuss how they can support them, including Oxfam.
