Campaigning against Police Cuts

Campaigning against police cuts with Ed Miliband and Steve Reed

This morning I joined Steve Reed and Ed Miliband to protest against London Mayor Boris Johnson’s plans to take almost 100 police off our streets and sell-off South Norwood police station. Activists gathered to hear Ed say how the government has made the wrong cuts for the wrong people. That is tax cuts for millionaires and police cuts for people in Croydon.

Labour’s is continuing its campaign to protect front line policing in the area after Steve Reed recently delivered a petition at South Norwood police station signed by local people concerned about the Mayor’s intentions.
